The first issue of ‘Studies: An Irish Quarterly Review of Letters, Philosophy & Science.’ was published by the Irish Jesuits in March 1912. Single numbers cost half-a-crown; a yearly subscription ten shillings, post free.
To commemorate the centenary, ‘An Irish Century: Studies 1912-2012’ edited by Bryan Fanning, will be launched tonight by John Bruton at Newman House, St. Stephen’s Green, Dublin.
